JASON YONG KOK YEW
Jason is a lawyer by day & Batman by night. He wished that he could recycle his professional biography but was compelled to write a “fun” one instead, and so here it is. When writing this biography, he found himself to be a pretty incredible author, capable of writing 53 words for fun.
NICHOLAS NAVARON CHULA
Nicholas came from the warring tribe of headhunters in the Land of Hornbills. Growing up, Nicholas aspired to go to the Bar and to open a bar. He has successfully done the former, and is on his way to the latter. During his free time, he takes solace in knowing that people take his insults as humour.
NATHALIE ANNETTE KEE
Nathalie is a modern day warrior with her red lipstick and heels as her armour, and her pen as her sword. In her past time, she fights dragons in the court of law and wrestles giant serpents that often appear in the form of litigation paperwork.
RACHEL NG LI HUI
Whenever Rachel is not eating cili padi, she is busy getting up and attending Court matters. Despite a soft-spoken demeanour, Rachel brings the spiciness of cili padi in both her lawyering and her writing.
VOON SU HUEI
Su Huei is a lawyer who has a keen interest in literature, film and theater, with a penchant for psychological thrillers. Also a fellow yogi and curious explorer of meditation and all things spiritual. Thinks that one of life’s greatest pleasures is sipping hot chocolate with a cat nestled in her lap.
JASON CHEONG KAH LOK
This Taiping-born lad is an avid fan of the Kingsman and truly believes that Manners Maketh Man, be it in or outside of the Courtroom. Jason aspires to be a cheerful (a.k.a. not grumpy) old man living with his pug, telling epic stories from his wild youth.

Preveena is a $assy chocoholic with a peculiar sense of humour. Unlike her chocolates, Preveena thinks out of the box and isn’t always as sweet.

AHMAD IYAS HUSNI
Curious and inquisitive. Iyas is the kind of person who constantly has something on his mind. Ever wondering why the law works the way it does, Iyas constantly pushes the limits of his curiosity to find the ever elusive “Answer” to all of his questions.
RACHEL CHONG JIA WEI
Rachel is a philonoist who has her third phase of education planned out. Discovering the invasion of artificial intelligence into the legal industry prompted her to grasp its workings before it takes away her job.
Jean is a full-time fighter of all things evil, armored with a silver tongue and an ink-filled highlighter ready to mark any discrepancies existing in any document. On her downtime, she enjoys a pint of freshly brewed pale lager while catching up with her trusted allies.
NICOLE LEE SIN YEE
Nicole tend to be taken very seriously including all the serious jokes that she makes. Known to play the ‘big sister’ role amongst her peers, she is secretly an extroverted introvert. When not lawyering, she is a jelly artist that loves reading and she travels to recharge her soul.
EFFA SUZIEANA ZAINAL
This section is normally where authors tell people about their achievements, life aspirations, etc. I’m Effa; a land law expert, and an organized, highly logical corporate lawyer who loves to run and hike. Oh, and I occasionally lie in my bio.
Vinod is the embodiment of ‘what you see is what you get’. A ray of blinding sunshine and a legal savant, Vinod enjoys exploring the various facets of human experience (which occasionally leads him the dark side, but no one really needs to know about that).
SERI AMALINA MOHD KHAIR
Seri can’t describe herself—she is an eclectic mix of complication and simplicity wrapped in the form of a petite hijabi lawyer. She does have unusually colourful vocabulary though, but only when most people aren’t listening. Much.
Sarah is a former ballerina, present barrister whose fleek of her eyeliner is always on standby to assist her in the task of vanquishing opponent(s) within the radar in or out of court – or not. She can (figuratively) perform kung fu en pointe in court.
Sheena didn’t realize that she will one day be a lawyer. To her, being called to the Bar means having a martini, mijoto or a pina colada. Sheena celebrates life with 2 simple rules: (i) She is always right; and (ii) If she’s wrong, refer to rule no. 1.
Kishen once dreamt of playing sports professionally, but now begrudgingly finds contentment helping clients for scoring settlements. Advises those who approach him to wear sunglasses, for fear of being blinded by the glean of his shiny head and to a lesser extent, the lousiest of jokes spewed from his learned mouth.
LOW HENN XHEN
Growing up, Henn Xhen aspired to be a doctor, a policeman or a pilot. He has absolutely no idea how he ended up being a lawyer. While he has no problem drafting legal documents, he is terrible in preparing an introduction of himself. This biography is the best evidence. But hey, at least he came up with something!
Other than being a law pupil, I am a foodie with a twist – that is – my small appetite makes it difficult to fulfill all my cravings. After a challenging day, I look forward to having a good meal that comforts my soul. “Positive vibes only” is my tagline; happily delivering positive vibes to people around me, because I believe everyone deserves the best!
YAP SHER MIN
Sher Min is a lawyer who is “aloof and distant through the eyes of many but a complete goofball near your vicinity” who loves to muse on arts, games, comics and life (and maybe law). She also seem to have strong Asian genes – for the number of times she gets asked about her age is sufficient for her to make a FAQ.
Jagshey is a combination of quietness and boldness; believing that strength can present itself through subtleties in today’s deafening world. Louder in action than in words, he seeks adventure in the realms of law that is in need of a silently loud advocate.
Aqila is the girl-next-door with twinkly eyes and sharp wits. In her occasional dive into the history of law, Aqila often finds herself exploring aspects of law from an unconventional perspective.
